NFHAM 3

Thanks for stopping by!
And we're back again.  Day 3 of National Foot Health Awareness Month.

Summer is coming and if you're like me, you probably like to put nail polish on your toes.  For some reason (maybe because I just think my toes are ugly?), I refuse to wear sandals without having my toenails polished.

Unfortunately, it's a lot easier to just keep the polish on all summer, touch it up here and there or redo it again right away, than to take the polish off and let my toenails breathe a bit in between. But if you do that, you risk  not only having toe nails that are brittle but they may get nail fungus.

So do your toes a favor.  Remove your polish for a few days throughout the summer before repolishing them and when the end of summer comes, give them a nice long breather during the colder months so they can completely recover.
